the HSE Story

The Mission

Hopkins Student Enterprises (HSE) has been established to provide students from all different disciplines with real-world entrepreneurial and leadership experience; to provide a source of employment and income for students of the University; to deliver valuable products and services that benefit the greater Johns Hopkins community; and to foster student innovation and encourage the development of new business.

Coming Together

It's part corporation, part student group, part classroom, and part internship all rolled into one. Hopkins Student Enterprises (HSE) provides valuable resources to student entrepreneurs on the Hopkins campus. Whether your business idea is completely off the wall or a simple improvement to an existing business, HSE has an opportunity for you.
HSE was started in the Spring of 2006, launching active operations during the Fall semester. Hopkins Student Enterprises was created by the Center for Leadership Education to offer student entrepreneurs an opportunity to develop their business ideas and implement them on campus.
By developing your business ideas through HSE, you'll make a lasting impact at Hopkins. After you graduate, your business stays at the University, serving customers and educating student entrepreneurs for years to come.

In HSE, experience is not what makes you an exceptional candidate - it is about passion, dedication and an unyielding hunger to create

-Noah Presler, CEO & President of HSE
